SUSAN GAIDE
is a professional writer and editor with twenty years of experience in a broad spectrum of
industries, including professional
audio and video, recording media, music, digital imaging, real estate,
higher education, distance education, legal
and professional foodservice. Formerly with the
New York based firms of Geltzer & Co. and Technology
Solutions, Inc., her work has been published in leading trade
publications, including Pro AV, Mix, Pro Sound News,
Sound and Communications, Distance Education Report,
Petersen's Photographic and Rodale's Scuba Diving.
She is contributing author and editor of the Defensive
Eating® series published by Bellringer Books,
and is
co-authoring Justice for Sale, the
true story of one man's battle for justice for his
murdered father.
Susan earned her M.B.A. with honors from
Adelphi University and a Bachelor of Science in music
merchandising from Hofstra University. She is currently an adjunct
professor/facilitator and faculty mentor in the online/distance education business degree
programs offered by Indiana Wesleyan University, for
which she teaches Professional Communications,
Introduction to Human Communications, Communications I &
II, Seminar in Business, Strategies in Marketing Management, Organizational Behavior,
Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, and Philosophy of
Corporate Culture. From 1984 to 1996, she served
as Associate Professor of Business and Music Business at
Five Towns College on Long Island.
